Regarding Recent Flat Earth Heckling

During the news reports of the Apollo moon landing 50th anniversary last July, all of my science pages on Facebook were being trolled by flat earth hecklers. These Internet trolls aggressively used the most asinine forms of heckling, relying heavily on memes exposing their extreme ignorance and arrogance.

Posted here are my responses to their psychologically-deranged memes. Brace yourselves! Feel free to share when you’re being heckled by anti-science flat earth Internet trolls. See also the Debunking Flat Earth Misconceptions website https://flatearth.ws/ for amazing pro-truth/anti-flat earth infographics and explanations.

The first three are “What flat earthers say vs. Reality,” where yours truly modified the flat earth heckling meme on the left to be truthful on the right:

This is a graphic showing how earthquakes generate measurable S and P waves, debunking the flat earth craze.

This last one was one I downloaded from someone else.

But the most penetrating destruction of the flat earth craze is ANTIPODAL VOLCANISM, which is of course only possible on a globe. This is showcased in the Chicxulub impact and Deccan traps. Antipodal geology is discussed in the first three links below, the first two being scientific reports.

Videos debunking ice-wall Antarctica:

Flat earth illustration highlighting their "Antarctica is not a continent but instead is a circumpolar ice wall" theory.
These videos show that marsupials traveled from South America to Australia through Antarctica when they were closer together and when Antarctica was warmer. This demonstrates plate tectonics (impossible on a flat earth) and that Antarctica is a continent—not an ice wall—that was once green!

This, plate tectonics and the moving, once-green Antarctica, along with antipodal volcanism/geology, soundly refute the flat earth rubbish.
